Come on over!

The people are friendly and the fish are biting!

Welcome to the Silos at Canyon Ferry Lake. The door is open, and your lakeside getaway is waiting.

Fun for the whole family!

Canyon Ferry Lake is one of Montana's foremost recreation areas. Behind the first major dam on the Missouri River, the reservoir covers 25 miles, and offers a variety of recreational opportunities including: boating; year-round fishing for Walleye, Trout, Perch, Ling and Northern Pike; camping; sightseeing; picnicking; hiking; hunting; waterskiing; nature study; and swimming.

Townsend/Canyon Ferry Lake KOA offers easy boat access, is RV friendly, and even has a general store and apartments for rent.

Year-round recreation.

Canyon Ferry is an ideal spot for water recreation and fishing throughout the year. Fly fish the Missouri River for blue-ribbon trout, drop in your boat during one of our walleye tournaments, or enjoy a sunny winter day icefishing for yellow perch.

Just south of Silos KOA is the 5,000-acre Canyon Ferry Wildlife Management Area, providing habitat and birdwatching opportunities for migrating waterfowl and songbirds including Canada geese, cormorants, mountain bluebirds, cedar waxwings, Caspian terns and ospreys. You'll also see local inhabitants like antelope, moose, red fox and river otters. The WMA offers seasonal hunting opportunties for white-tailed deer, pheasants, ducks and geese.
